Matt Jackson is dealing with a partially torn bicep. 

Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Radio Tuesday morning said that the injury happened during the three-way AEW Trios Championship match earlier this month. 

This is why AEW did the angle last week on Dynamite, where The Blackpool Combat Club attacked The Young Bucks, and they were put into an ambulance. 

“Apparently it happened early in the match and he worked the whole match with it,” Alvarez said.

“He opted to not get surgery and is hopeful he’ll be back quicker,” Dave Meltzer added. “Surgery, you’re looking at seven months. As far as timetable, it’s probably not too long? I don’t know. Pay-per-view is in two months. Two months feels short, which is too bad if they are not on pay-per-view.”
