Owen Hart Comparisons Emerge After Fatal Fall At UTSA Pre-Game Event

The tragic death of a U.S. Army officer during the Navy Vs. UTSA pre-game event this week has led many to see similarities to Owen Hart.

At the event, the officer, who has not been identified at this time, fell during a fast rope demonstration that went horribly wrong.

The officer was attended to on the field and taken to the hospital on a stretcher. He died from his injuries at a local hospital.

On social media, many compared the tragedy to Hart, who fell to his death in a similar manner at the Over the Edge 1999 pay-per-view event.

Hart was incredibly nervous about the stunt, according to several individuals who were at the event, but felt that he could not say no to management

WWE decided to carry on with the event after Hart’s death, drawing criticism from fans. Similarly, after a 10-minute delay due to the officer’s fall, the game began.

The officer was said to have been part of the 6th Combat Training Squadron. The unit helps train military members to rappel down from helicopters

The event hosted by UTSA (University of Texas at San Antonio) was their Salute to Armed Forces and Veterans night at the Alamodome.

In a statement, UTSA offered “thoughts and prayers” to the soldier’s family.

Due to the sensitive nature of the video that is being shared on social media, we have chosen not to include it in this article.
