Younger Wrestlers Feel “Ignored” By Tony Khan In AEW

Younger wrestlers on AEW’s “bloated” roster are reportedly feeling ignored by company President Tony Khan.

Khan has had his hands full as of late, not only putting on weekly programming, but dealing with the All Out post-show controversy.

Prior to this, there had been reports of frustrations within the roster, leading to Khan hosting a talent-wide meeting last month prior to Dynamite.

During a recent PWTorch.com audio show, Wade Keller stated that the impact of the large roster and Khan’s focus on top stars has led to resentment among others in the company.

“We’ve reached a point where Tony’s roster is just so unwieldy and I hear this from some of the younger guys, that they just feel ignored.

“They wish they knew what they were going to do when they showed up. They wish they had more of a way to talk to Tony.”

The report did not state which wrestlers said that they feel ignored by the AEW President.

During this week’s AEW Dynamite, Khan stripped Punk of the AEW World Championship and stripped the Elite of the AEW Trios Tag Championships.

While Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks have been suspended, there are reports that Khan could fire Punk or that the former World Champion could quit.

Punk is also out with an injury which is expected to keep him away for six to eight months.
