Update On Sasha Banks’ WWE Status After Comic-Con Appearance Is Announced

Sasha Banks is all but confirmed to be out of WWE following the announcement of an appearance at an upcoming comic convention.

Banks will be appearing at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) this August, her first public appearance since the infamous WWE Raw walk out.

According to Fightful Select, the announcement prompted several wrestling conventions to inquire about booking Banks for their own conventions.

A representative for the former Women’s Champion said that Banks will not be taking any wrestling-related bookings until January 1, 2023.

It’s unclear if this date is by personal choice, or if it is related to her contract with WWE.

Many expect Banks to still make non-wrestling appearances such as C2E2.

Speaking to some event organizers, Banks’ representative had requested a “firm, specific rate,” for her to appear, seemingly confirming that she will be making non-WWE appearances.

It has been reported that Banks has already been released from WWE though neither side has publicly confirmed or denied the reports.
