TNA Against All Odds 2025 Predictions? | Question Of The Day

Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

Second-up on this week’s set of special pro wrestling shows is TNA Against All Odds 2025—a “not a pay-per-view” that you have to pay to view on TNA+ as part of their monthly specials, so effectively just the same, but with the excuse to not have to do as much important stuff on it. Nevertheless, a few titles are on the line, and there always remains a possibility something worthwhile goes down.

Be sure to check back tomorrow night for live coverage here to find out the results. But before that goes down, my question for you today is “What are your predictions for TNA Against All Odds 2025?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answer…

Singles Match for the TNA World Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Elijah

Obviously, Trick Williams is not losing the title. How insane would it be if they went through all that effort to have someone from NXT win the TNA Championship, only for him to drop it almost immediately to Elijah on a B-level event like this?

Trick beat Mike Santana on NXT Tuesday night. Elijah is just the next in line. Eventually, TNA Slammiversary is around the corner, and that’s when I assume there will be a rematch with Joe Hendry where Trick drops the title.

Tag Team Match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship: The Nemeth Brothers (Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth) (c) vs. The Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz)

As I’ve only been watching the pay-per-views for TNA for the past few of them, and not Impact, I’m sure there are missing elements to any of my predictions that would inform me better for my predictions. This is one of those matches. I don’t know if there’s enough momentum to consider The Rascalz winning the titles here.

Frankly, I would think that they would be one of the top potential picks to dethrone The Nemeth Brothers, and that this would have been the match for Slammiversary. Maybe it still will be, and this is just something that will end in shenanigans.

For what it’s worth, I think no titles will change hands on this show, and that applies to this. However, if any of the belts do find new homes, this is the one that I’d place a bet on.

Singles Match for the TNA Knockouts World Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Léi Yǐng Lee

To repeat myself, I don’t think we’re getting any title changes, and that applies here, too.

Slamovich beat Jordynne Grace. I think TNA wants to keep the belt on her until Slammiversary, if not later. Since Tessa Blanchard already had her shot, and I just assumed she’d be the next champion, that leads me to question who will be the next in line, but I still think it will be Slamovich against someone at that show, rather than Lee walking in as champion.

Singles Match for the TNA International Championship: Steve Maclin (c) vs. Mance Warner (with Steph De Lander)

To repeat again, no new champions being crowned on this show. Maclin didn’t win this title too long ago for everyone to be itching for him to drop it, I’d assume. Warner strikes me as the type who was built up enough to challenge, but not enough to take the title and start defending it.

Singles Match: Joe Hendry vs. Frankie Kazarian

As I mentioned, I think Hendry gets a rematch against Williams for Slammiversary. A win here over Kazarian should theoretically put him back into the No. 1 contender’s spot and likely end that feud for good.

Now, if I’m wrong, and Hendry isn’t supposed to go up against Williams in the near future, then I think that will be exhibited if he loses here. I don’t see much of a chance it’s Trick against Kazarian, but it could be a Triple Threat, if they want to play that game.

Winner Becomes Official TNA Director of Authority: Santino Marella vs. Robert Stone

Robert Stone showing back up in TNA to have this little storyline is the type of random guest spot stuff that they should be doing. He’s not being taken away from anything in WWE, and he’s not being used as a wrestler there, so this gives TNA something while WWE doesn’t have to take a hit.

With that being said, the story does have to have an ending, and I just can’t see Stone sticking around in that role in comparison to Santino keeping it, so I’m going with Marella.
