WWE’s presence at Fanatics Fest included yet another heated encounter between longtime rivals CM Punk and Seth Rollins. The two confronted each other face-to-face and traded words, but the situation stopped short of getting physical.
The animosity between Punk and Rollins has been brewing since Punk’s return at Survivor Series 2023. Following Punk’s feud with Drew McIntyre, tensions between him and Rollins reignited. Punk scored key victories, including a win on the debut episode of RAW on Netflix and eliminating Rollins from the Elimination Chamber. Rollins fired back with a cage match victory on RAW and later triumphed in a high-stakes triple threat match at WrestleMania that also featured Roman Reigns. Most recently, Rollins teamed with Bron Breakker to defeat Punk and Sami Zayn on Saturday Night’s Main Event.
