Ric Flair has no plans to appear at the upcoming WWE Royal Rumble next year. Flair took to his podcast recently to walk back some comments he made recently, suggesting he would be at the Royal Rumble, but WWE hadn’t told anybody.

He clarified that he would be in San Antonio, but it will not be for the pay-per-view (PPV).

I’m still looking forward to the 30th anniversary. By the way, of course, social media screwed that up, I have not been invited to the Rumble. I am going to San Antonio to sign autographs separately, on the day of the Rumble. I was not invited to the Rumble. However if they want me to put my gear on, like at Last Match, that’s fine.

Flair did admit that WWE invited him to the 30th Anniversary edition of RAW on January 23 in Philadelphia.
