WWE may be planning a major character shift for one of its rising stars.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Blake Monroe — who only recently debuted in WWE NXT as a babyface — is already being considered for a heel turn. While the exact timing for the transition hasn’t been confirmed, sources say the idea has been discussed internally and given the green light.

Monroe, formerly known as “The Glamour” Mariah May in AEW and a former AEW Women’s World Champion, made her NXT debut on June 3 under the same nickname. Since arriving, she has teamed up with fellow babyface Jordynne Grace in their ongoing feud against Jacy Jane and Fatal Influence. Despite her current alliances, a darker shift in Monroe’s character could be on the horizon.
