Report – Ric Flair’s Partnership With AEW Seemingly Over

Last year, AEW made headlines by signing WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair to a multi-year deal. The announcement also highlighted Flair’s Woooooo Energy drink.

Flair was brought in as part of a storyline involving a gift to Sting from AEW President Tony Khan. He aligned with Sting until his retirement at AEW Revolution 2024.

Khan previously compared Flair’s deal to that of Randy Savage’s with WCW in the mid-1990s, mentioning that Wooooo Energy was covering a significant portion, if not all, of Flair’s AEW salary.

However, a recent report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter indicated the absence of Wooooo Energy graphics and ads on AEW television, leading to speculation that the deal may have concluded.

The report states, “There was no explanation given but unless something changes it does look like that deal is over with.”

The implications of the deal on Flair’s relationship with AEW remain unclear.
