As seen during last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley defeated Sammy Guevara in the opening contest to advance to the finals of the Grand Slam Tournament of Champions.
In the main event of the show, Bryan Danielson defeated Chris Jericho to advance, so we’ll see Jon Moxley vs. Bryan Danielson facing off to crown a new AEW World Champion on next week’s Grand Slam themed episode of Dynamite.
Following Moxley’s win over Guevara, Renee Paquette took to Twitter to send a message to Sammy’s wife, Tay Melo. She wrote,
“Let your man fight his own battles, and keep your cheap shoes off my husband.”
Melo later responded to Paquette, writing,
“Don’t pretend you are mad, we don’t need more cute babies backstage. But if you have a problem with it, you know where I’m at every Wednesday… waiting for you!”
