Paul Heyman Could Reportedly Be In Line For Top Job In Post-Vince McMahon WWE

Paul Heyman could soon have a new role backstage in WWE under the Stephanie McMahon/Nick Khan era of the promotion.

McMahon and Khan were announced as co-CEOs of WWE last week in the wake of Vince McMahon’s retirement announcement.

During the latest Pwtorch podcast, Wade Keller discussed a possible backstage role for Heyman, who previously served as WWE Executive Director of Monday Night RAW.

“It seems like to people that have seen them that Heyman and Stephanie get along. You know like, genuinely, there’s a chemistry and a dynamic between them that’s very positive. And that’s very different than you know, 15-20 years ago. So, Heyman is someone to watch. He’s really, really smart. And he is a wrestling guy.”

Heyman, considered by many to be one of the best minds in the business, previously working as the head of creative for WWE SmackDown in the early 2000s.
