NXT Great American Bash 2025 Predictions? | Question Of The Day

Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

We’ve got a lot of pay-per-views coming up this weekend, so let’s start on our rundown of predictions a little early, starting with NXT Great American Bash.

Who do you think will win the matches currently announced for this card?

My question for you today is “What are your predictions for WWE Great American Bash 2025?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answer…

Tag Team Match: Blake Monroe and Jordynne Grace vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne)

There are usually two possible ways this would go, but one of those is definitely out the window in my mind. That option that is not on the table this time is for Jordynne Grace’s tag team partner to lose for them so it seems like Jacy Jayne is going to retain the next night.

But now that we know that the winner of the NXT Women’s Championship will face Masha Slamovich at TNA Slammiversary with both titles on the line, it’s a 100% guarantee that Grace is winning, and I think not only does WWE not want Blake Monroe to lose, but will be perfectly willing for Fallon Henley to take a loss, I think they want there to be hype for Grace to be winning the title at Evolution ahead of time.

Definitely Henley is losing for Fatal Influence.

NXT Women’s North American Championship Match: Sol Ruca (c) vs. Izzi Dame

I’m still stuck on the prediction that Sol Ruca is going to drop this title to ZARIA when they split up as a tag team. That makes me so laser-focused on that outcome that I just bypass any challenges. Dame could win the title, but I don’t think it’s happening unless the game plan is Dame beats Ruca, ZARIA beats Dame, and they don’t want to split up Zaruca yet.

That could happen with Tatum Paxley on the outside to possibly cause some distractions.

I’m about 75% in on Ruca retaining, but I’m starting to doubt myself.

Falls Count Anywhere Match for the NXT North American Championship: Ethan Page (c) vs. Ricky Saints

I was surprised when Ethan Page won the title in the first place. After it happened, I assumed if Je’Von Evans wasn’t the next in line, that this would just go back to Saints. Since Evans not only failed to win the title at Worlds Collide, but has since moved on to feud with Jasper Troy, it seems fairly certain Saints just wins this belt back and that’s that. If the Falls Count Anywhere stipulation comes into play, though, there’s a chance some other people help Page retain.

Jasper Troy vs. Je’Von Evans

I don’t think the three fight segments on this week’s NXT alone did a good job in selling this match…but, whatever. Clearly, this isn’t a priority event. I like Troy and Evans, so this isn’t a dunk on them, but it’s just the most basic thing ever and on an event where all of this is pretty pointless overall.

Troy wins to offset how he had lost to Femi and Inamura. There.

Singles Match for the NXT Championship: Oba Femi (c) vs. Yoshiki Inamura

I’m surprised they’re doing this match. Josh Briggs wouldn’t have made for a more believable contender, unfortunately (as I really do wish they’d push the guy, but he’s just not built up enough at the moment), but Inamura’s the best you’ve got for Femi to fight right now? That seems weak.

Obviously, Femi retains. That’s not in question whatsoever. I’m really unsure who is going to be in a good enough position to beat Femi at this point.

What do you think? Drop your thoughts below!
