Last week, there was a cryptic teaser featuring some production color bars that changed the words “WWE transmission” to “Vengeance Day”. This week on NXT, those same graphics appeared in the background of an interview segment behind Sarah Schreiber, but more so, this episode ended with a brief shot of four people in silhouettes.
These four male Superstars aren’t anyone particularly noticeable off the bat that would be immediately recognized by most fans (IE, this wasn’t an obvious John Cena silhouette, for example), but some viewers are already speculating on some names likes Saquon Shugars, Cutler James, Keanu Carver, Dion Lennox, and others who have been largely just part of the NXT Level Up programming (though in Lennox’s case, has been featured sporadically on NXT over the past few months as well). Some are tossing out the idea that Ricky Starks could be one of the silhouettes as another option, though that could not be the case if AEW does not let him out of his contract.
The implication is that this will be a new stable or faction going forward, but with such little information, that is still up for speculation as well.
