MJF may be considered one of the best talkers in wrestling today, but that doesn’t mean he enjoys the term ‘promo.’

The Salt of the Earth has impressed fans with his mic skills and refusal to break character which has made him one of AEW’s most popular stars.

While speaking with Vulture, MJF said he felt the term ‘promo’ downplayed what he does in the ring.

“By the way, I hate that word ‘promo.’ I prefer ‘oratory exhibition.’ The amount of classic oratory exhibitions that I have, I take great pride in that.”

MJF will challenge AEW World Champion Jon Moxley on tonight’s Full Gear pay-per-view event.
