Former AAA World Trios Champion El Cuatrero, who was arrested in March 2023 for alleged domestic violence and attempted femicide against reigning NXT Women’s and NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer, has been released from prison.

While the case against him remains ongoing and the charges have not been dropped, an order of protection was lifted, allowing his release. He does not have an ankle monitor but is barred from returning to wrestling for now. His release comes with three conditions, including restrictions on contact with Vaquer and fleeing.
