Bronson Reed has addressed a long-running rumor surrounding The Vision, joking that the dominant WWE faction may actually be “cursed” after a wave of injuries devastated the group.
The Vision emerged as one of WWE’s top heel factions following its formation on the RAW after WrestleMania 41, but their momentum came to a halt as injuries piled up on nearly every member ahead of WrestleMania 42.
The setbacks began when Seth Rollins suffered a serious shoulder injury during his Crown Jewel Championship match against then-Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event on October 11, 2025.
Bron Breakker was the next to go down after aggravating a hernia while flipping the commentary table on the February 2 edition of RAW. The injury came shortly after his frustration over being eliminated from the 2026 Royal Rumble by Oba Femi boiled over.
Bronson Reed was then sidelined with a torn biceps during an Elimination Chamber qualifying match on the February 23 episode of RAW. The injury occurred when he attempted to break up The Original El Grande Americano’s pinfall attempt on Jey Uso. More recently, Logan Paul suffered a torn triceps during Saturday Night’s Main Event in May while teaming with Austin Theory against The Street Profits for the World Tag Team Championship.
With nearly every member of the faction ending up on the injured list, Reed admitted that the situation has become difficult to ignore. He wrote,
“The Vision Is Cursed”
During the third season of WWE: Unreal, Reed reflected on the moment his torn biceps became a reality. Speaking backstage with Austin Theory, he explained that the injury stemmed from taking a German suplex from The Original El Grande Americano. He said,
“I took that German from OG El Grande Americano and tore my biceps.”
Theory responded by wondering whether The Vision was cursed, to which Reed quickly agreed. He said,
“Yeah, we’re cursed.”
While Reed remains sidelined recovering from his torn biceps, recent reports have suggested that he could return sooner than expected, with a possible comeback ahead of or during SummerSlam 2026.

The unforgettable moment took place on the October 13, 2025 episode of Monday Night RAW, when Rollins entered the ring alongside Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. Instead of standing beside their leader, Breakker and Reed turned on Rollins in a brutal assault, leaving “The Visionary” laid out in the middle of the ring and bringing the dominant faction to an end.
Now, WWE has revealed what happened backstage before and after the segment, giving fans a new appreciation for Rollins’ role in making the angle as believable as possible.
Before heading through the curtain, Rollins was seen speaking directly to Breakker, encouraging him not to hold anything back when delivering the decisive Spear. He said,
“I know I don’t need to tell you this, do not f**k with that spear. Hit me hard as a motherf***er. Just like you would normally. It’s gotta’ look [good]. This is a moment they are gonna replay for years. Just do it. Do as you would anybody else. Just eat me. As much of a running start as you can.”
After the cameras stopped rolling and the segment was complete, Rollins was shown checking in with Breakker backstage, joking about the impact of the spear while expressing his appreciation for his former stablemate. He said,
“You just nearly Speared my body off my f**king head, no, the other way around. Yeah, thank you, buddy. I’m gonna be at the show. I’m a resource. Anytime, man.”
The backstage exchange further highlighted Rollins’ reputation as one of WWE’s most respected veterans, with the former world champion making it clear he was willing to absorb a devastating hit if it elevated the storyline and helped Breakker’s rise.
