Josh Alexander Names Impact Wrestling Legends He Wants To Face

Impact Wrestling World Champion Josh Alexander is ready to face all-comers, even those from the promotion’s past.

Alexander recently became the longest-reigning Impact World Champion, with his current reign surpassing Robert Roode’s 256-day reign from 2011 to 2012.

Speaking to Fightful, the champ said he’d love to face AJ Styles and Samoa Joe if given the chance and named other Impact alum on his radar.

“Christopher Daniels, he’s still active and working on the indies and AEW every once in a while, and that would be awesome. I think The Fallen Angel is as synonymous with TNA and Impact history as anyone. Honorable mention has to go to Jeff Jarrett who, I think, at 55 years old, looks as good as ever from all the matches I’ve seen him have. Those four would be at the top of my list.”

Alexander also praised the Unbreakable 2005 triple-threat match between Daniels, Samoa Joe, and AJ Styles, calling it the greatest match in Impact history.

Alexander will defend his title against two-time former Impact World Champion Bully Ray at Hard to Kill on January 13.
