How Would You Order WrestleMania 41’s Two-Night Card Lineup? | Question Of The Day

Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

WWE finally announced the so-called “full” cards for each day of WrestleMania 41. I say full in quotation marks because the card is always subject to change, and even after announcements, we’ve seen some changes, such as Rhea Ripley being added to Iyo Sky vs. Bianca Belair, the Drew McIntyre and Damian Priest match becoming a Sin City Street Fight, and so on. I’m also suspicious Randy Orton still will get some kind of match.

My question for you today is “What should go on first and how would you place each match on Saturday and Sunday’s cards?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answer…

Given the grouping we’re told, I would probably open the first night with Gunther against Jey Uso. Not only is that the next best spot to be in as far as importance, and it is for the World Heavyweight Championship, but it’s likely the title will change hands. Start off WrestleMania with a big babyface pop.

Take the fans down a bit with Rey Mysterio vs. El Grande Americano. It’s just a standard match, and I think Chad Gable may win it.

Switch gears up in the opposite direction and do the first women’s match with Jade Cargill beating Naomi. Of course, if the plan is to have Naomi get the upset, and/or Rey to beat Gable, then swap these. Heel win after Uso, then babyface again.

Another heel win with The New Day over The War Raiders, and that’s a second title change to kind of wake up the crowd a bit if they’re feeling antsy for championships.

Follow that up with LA Knight against Jacob Fatu. It’ll be in its best spot to follow the tag team match to help break up singles, singles, singles, tag, singles, singles, triple threat.

Put Tiffany Stratton vs. Charlotte Flair next, as it can then feel important for being semi-main, followed by the CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins main event.

Sunday night is more difficult for me to decide on, but I think I’d start off with the Women’s World Championship Triple Threat match. Fans will be hot for that, and it’s good to see the B-main arguable #3 most important spot on the weekend go to Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, and Iyo Sky, as they deserve it. Even if the build for their feud hasn’t been great, they are and the title should be prioritized.

If not that first, then the Intercontinental Championship Fatal 4-Way could swap in its place, but as I’m going with the women’s title match first, I’d lean more toward AJ Styles vs. Logan Paul as match #2 to switch it up from a three-way to a singles bout.

Then, let’s get a Sin City Street Fight in there to be another singles contest, but with no disqualifications. Follow that up with the Intercontinental Championship Fatal 4-Way instead, because I don’t think those guys are going to do the same type of match as the Street Fight (wherein weapons and such will be involved). I’m anticipating more of a regular match that just happens to have no count-outs, basically.

Put the women’s tag titles on next. It’s without a doubt going to be used as a buffer, because there is no way anyone watching is treating this to be on equal footing as the other matches. Sorry, but that’s true.

Here’s where I’d toss in a Randy Orton segment, as a surprise, because people are going to be thinking the main event is coming up next. Make it an open challenge that The Viper puts out, and either have Nick Aldis, Aleister Black, Miro, or someone else interesting come out to face Orton for an impromptu match.

Finally, end things off, obviously, with Cody Rhodes against John Cena.
