Former WWE ring announcer Tony Chimel was backstage during the latest episode of AEW Dynamite and taping of Rampage.
Signing with WWE in 1983, Chimel was released in November 2020, after over three decades with the company.
On Twitter, Dr. Michael Sampson shared a photo with Chimel as the two worked together when both were employed by WWE.
Chimel was let go by WWE due to budget cuts, and had his first-ever signing at The Big Event in Queens, New York this past Saturday.
