El Grande Americano’s first championship reign in WWE is going strong after his first title defense of the WWE Speed Championship.
During the latest episode of the Twitter-exclusive show, Americano retained his gold against Berto thanks to his dreaded loaded headbutt.
It was during the May 7 edition of WWE Speed, the luchador won the WWE Speed Championship, ending the reign of Dragon Lee.
El Grande Americano is the fourth Superstar to hold the WWE Speed title, following in the footsteps of Ricochet, Andrade, and Lee.
Chad Gable could not be reached for comment during Americano’s match.
