D-Von Dudley Calls Vince McMahon A Puppeteer, Chelsea Green Reacts To Praise From Aldis/Rhodes

During a recent appearance on the “Huge Pop” podcast, Chelsea Green commented on the recent praise she received from WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and Cody Rhodes. She said,

“I don’t think there’s any higher praise that you can get as a wrestler than your coworkers saying that they enjoy being around you, they enjoy working with you and that you’re easy because this is not an easy industry. Show business is not an easy industry. We’re with each other so often. It’s like being around your siblings. You get so freaking annoyed with your siblings and eventually it’s like little things bug you. So for them to just go out there and say like, just such complimentary things about me is really sweet. I obviously always try to show up at work with a smile on my face and bring a sense of comedy to not just what you see on TV, but to the locker room. Like, just bring an energy that people are happy to be around. But maybe that’s annoying to some people. I don’t know. I guess not to Nick and Cody.“

In a new video on his YouTube channel, D-Von Dudley revealed what he liked and disliked about Vince McMahon. The Dudley Boyz member compared McMahon to a puppeteer. He said,

“In terms of Vince McMahon, some of the things I didn’t like when you did something wrong, you knew that your ass was in trouble and you had to face him. Nobody wanted to walk that hall of shame or having to listen to Vince berate them, it’s probably [because] it makes you feel like you’re a child. You’re a grown-ass man, and yet you’re getting berated like there’s no tomorrow. He makes you feel that small, but then when he wants to praise you, he makes you feel that big. So that’s one of the things I love about Vince, he has that way of — it’s like a puppeteer. He can make you happy, he can make you sad. It all depends on how you make him feel. That’s some of the qualities I like and some of the qualities I dislike of Vince.“
