In an update on our original report (see below), WWE Hall of Famer Tammy ‘Sunny’ Sytch has been arrested in relation to a fatal car accident that took place back in March.
Sytch was arrested on Friday night in Ormond Beach, Florida and has been hit with nine counts. Some of the more serious charges include:
* DUI Manslaughter (DUI causing the death of a person)
* Driving with a suspended or revoked license (causing death or serious injury)
* Seven counts of DUI causing damage to a person or property
In the state of Florida, DUI Manslaughter is a felony and if convicted, she could face up to 30 years in prison. With that being said, she’s facing a minimum four-year sentence and a fine of up to $10,000.

ORIGINAL: WWE Hall of Famer Tammy “Sunny” Sytch has been arrested in connection to a car accident that took place back on March 25th on U.S. Highway 1 in Volusia County, Florida.
As many of you know, the crash resulted in the death of a 75-year old man by the name of Julian L. Lasseter.
According to the official police report, multiple witnesses say Sytch was traveling at a very high rate of speed when she crashed into Lasseter’s vehicle, which in turn collided with a third vehicle in front of his.
Sytch later took to social media and claimed that she was only traveling at 10 MPH and the man who died suffered a “stroke.” Of course, that’s a ridiculous statement to make as traveling at 10 MPH and hitting a vehicle more than likely wouldn’t have resulted in the middle car moving forward and hitting another car, thus resulting in injuries to the three occupants of that vehicle.
Sytch also claimed that the Mercedes she was driving was hers, although the Ormond Beach Police report says it’s actually owned by her boyfriend James F. Pente and the registration checked out on that.
Sytch was arrested on Friday evening in Ormond Beach, Florida. As of this writing, the details surrounding the arrest are not yet clear. One of the charges from the arrest is DUI-related. There is no word on if bail/bond has been set.
As many of you know by now, the Volusia County, Florida Sherriff’s department had previously been waiting on toxicology results following the car accident. They issued a warrant that allowed them to draw her blood while she was hospitalized. The results of that reportedly came back earlier this week and they arrested her last night.
Sytch is being sued by Lasseter’s estate over the incident.
