WWE’s promo segments have typically been heavily scripted for the last several years. Former WWE star Jon Moxley previously criticized the process for not allowing talent to have their voices shine in what they say.

According to a report from Pwinsider, WWE has been allowing talent more freedom on the mic over the last few weeks and is letting stars improvise more.

The report added that at least a ‘sizable portion’ of the Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus match on last week’s episode of SmackDown was called in the ring instead of every spot laid out in the back ahead of the match.
