Backstage News On The Recent Producer Tryouts In WWE

According to a report from Fightful, Ariya Daivari and Joe Hennig (Curt Axel) both continued their tryouts as WWE producers at this week’s TV tapings.

While Hennig was not listed among the producers for RAW, he was part of the SmackDown TV tapings.

As far as Daivari is concerned, he worked RAW on his own. In recent weeks, he’s been paired up with several veteran producers. Of course, that usually happens during the tryout phase.

Daivari produced the Main Event match featuring Akira Tozawa and Apollo Crews on his own. On SmackDown, he was working with a veteran producer once again.

Davari was also listed as the sole producer for the R-Truth vs. Otis match on WWE Main Event. It should be noted that the match was actually supposed to be produced by Shane Helms. That match wound up being pulled from the show anyways after the company simply wanted to stick with two matches for Main Event.
