As seen during Friday night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, there was a spot that featured Scarlett throwing a fireball into Drew McIntyre’s face. This planned spot didn’t go as planned.

According to a report from Fightful, Scarlett was meant to throw the fireball directly into Drew McIntyre’s face, but it went over his head instead.

The report notes that the flash paper wasn’t ready for live TV and didn’t catch enough of Drew’s face for him to even sell the move. While WWE officials got word to Karrion Kross to keep things moving, he and McIntyre improvised the rest of the segment.

Additionally, the flash paper was brought with the executives that took the company jet to SmackDown. So the prop wasn’t wasn’t picked up locally or brought by the prop team.
