Toni Storm’s recent announcement on Instagram signals a significant moment in her wrestling career, “confirming” her decision to retire, at least in the immediate term.

Storm revealed that she would not be appearing at the December 13th CMLL show, stating that she likely wouldn’t return to the company in the future. Her candid message, shared while she was chopping wood, took a humorous but reflective tone. Storm mentioned her torn labia as a physical reason but emphasized that, beyond the injury, she simply felt she “didn’t have it anymore.”

Storm also expressed confidence that AEW would send a replacement, and that life — and wrestling — would go on without her, despite her feeling that there’s no longer a place for her to be “timeless” in the sport.

In her closing remarks, Storm seemed to turn her focus toward a more personal, peaceful life, noting she would be with the dog she had “stolen from the park.” Her final line was “Chin down, t*ts in, and don’t bother watching for the shoe.”
