Fans will see MVP compete inside an AEW ring, and the former WWE United States Champion aims to have his last match with the promotion.
MVP debuted for AEW during the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite in September in a segment where he criticized Prince Nana’s managerial skills.
On BlueSky, a fan asked MVP if he plans to wrestle for AEW and the Hurt Syndicate member confirmed this is the plan. He said,
“Yeah. I plan to [wrestle] eventually [and] officially retire in AEW.”

So far in AEW, MVP has served as the manager for Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley, both of whom have had matches in the promotion.
MVP’s most recent match was on the July 18, 2022 episode of WWE RAW, where he and Omos lost by DQ to The Street Profits.
