It has been reported that Tama Tonga, a former star from New Japan Pro Wrestling, is making his way to WWE.
Tonga has been a part of NJPW for an impressive 14 years and finished up his time with the company in February.
Tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, taking place at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI, will feature appearances by newly crowned WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes and the WWE Women’s Champion Bayley.
According to a report from Pwinsider, Tonga has been spotted in Detroit ahead of tonight’s SmackDown TV tapings. It’s unclear whether he will be appearing on the show.
