Even though WWE wanted to have Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and John Cena at WrestleMania XL, they could only get John Cena as they showed up in the main event of night two, where they joined forces with Seth Rollins to take on Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title.

During the match, Cena took down Solo Sikoa while The Undertaker delivered a powerful choke slam to The Rock.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer wrote, “Undertaker’s gong hit and he choke slammed and took out Rock. Austin was the person originally earmarked for that spot, but in the end they couldn’t reach a financial agreement and Undertaker was put in his place.”
