Cash Wheeler was arrested in August 2023 for an incident that took place the month before, where he allegedly “flashed a gun” at another individual in what was believed to be a road rage incident.

Wheeler pleaded “not guilty” on charges of aggravated assault with a firearm on August 3.

It appears that Wheeler will face charges relating to the incident as Pwinsider is reporting that prosecutors in Orange County, Florida have moved ahead on pressing charges against Wheeler with a hearing set for February 20.

Wheeler was arraigned on August 18, 2023, after turning himself in the day before. His lawyer said during the arraignment that he did not know the plaintiff.

It is to be noted that the plaintiff was referred to in the hearing as “victims,” i.e. more than one person.

The decision was made on February 1 to pursue the charges. The February 20th hearing is listed as an arraignment, although Wheeler has already been arraigned.

If convicted, Wheeler could face up to five years imprisonment, five years probation, and a $5,000 fine.
