It’s well-known that All Elite Wrestling runs events in Chicago, IL on a regular basis, and we now know the reason why.

Speaking on a recent edition of the “Talk is Jericho” podcast, AEW’s VP of Live Events Rafael Morffi commented on why the company runs the Chicago market so often. Morffi says the attendance and live gates never dissapoint:

“I’ll say this: there’s not one city in America that can have two million-dollar gates… in the same summer in two different venues like we did last year in Chicago. There’s a reason why we go to Chicago a lot.”
