MJF has claimed that AEW lost thousands of dollars when he skipped a Meet & Greet ahead of the Double or Nothing Pay Per View.

In May, MJF was meant to be at the fan event but no-showed, fueling speculation of his status for Double or Nothing.

While speaking to Sam Roberts on NotSamWrestling, MJF was asked why he missed the meet and greet.

My company lost $10,000 that day, and I say my company because they are employing me. For the time being. I did not go because my boss, at that time, was being a f*cking mark.

“If you don’t want to pay me what I’m worth, daddy does not show up to work. Daddy got the money. Daddy is back. Now me and Tony Khan are best friends.”

MJF would appear at Double or Nothing and was squashed by Wardlow on the Pay Per View.
