WWE held a live event on Sunday at the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center in South Carolina, with Kevin Owens among the talents featured on the card.
During the event, Owens appeared to suffer an apparent knee injury. Footage surfaced showing the former WWE Universal Champion being helped toward the backstage area while noticeably limping.
Sports journalist Kevin Bilodeau captured footage of the incident and wrote the following,
“Kevin Owens had to be helped to the back after suffering an apparent knee injury at #WWECharleston”
At this time, there is no official word regarding the severity of Owens’ injury.
Owens made his return to WWE at SummerSlam 2026 after being sidelined since early 2025. He had been out of action due to a neck injury that ultimately required surgery.
