Former AEW Women’s World Champion Thekla doesn’t yet have a spot on the All In: London 2026 card, and Tony Khan addressed her absence during the pre-event media call.
Thekla lost her title to Willow Nightingale at the Redemption 2026 pay-per-view in July, and she has not wrestled since that match.
Khan praised Thekla as a tremendous wrestler and said she remains a key player on the AEW roster, although she is not booked for Wembley Stadium.
The AEW President further teased that fans should stay tuned, suggesting Thekla could return to AEW television soon, whether on pay-per-view or weekly shows. Khan said,
“First of all, I did speak about the length of the card. I think Thekla is a tremendous, tremendous wrestler, and I think it’s certainly a great opportunity for everybody in AEW anytime they can participate in AEW All In and I still think we could see Thekla appear very soon in AEW, obviously after she lost the championship to Willow Nightingale. We saw Thekla have this incredible match and we haven’t seen her since. I think stay tuned to AEW because you’d expect to see Thekla back very soon… Thekla’s a great wrestler — is somebody who’s at the forefront in my mind and I’m also very cognizant that she’s been a great champion for us, and she’s somebody who can come in and be a huge part of our shows, any time, on pay-per-view or TV, and Thekla’s very unpredictable as well. So, I would say stay tuned and certainly Thekla’s a very valued person in AEW…”
