Pwinsider is reporting that the decision came down to “logistical reasons” rather than any change in storyline plans. Instead, WWE later released a separate digital exclusive video online, where Paige addressed the situation directly and responded to comments made by Nikki Bella.
The drama started after Nikki mocked Paige on social media, asking what she had said since her segment never aired. Paige fired back, telling Nikki that she should want women to get television time instead of being pulled from the show, and promised the two would cross paths next week.
This latest exchange builds on tension that began earlier this month, when Nikki and Brie Bella turned on Paige following a loss to Fatal Influence at SummerSlam 2026. Brie remains sidelined due to injury, but Nikki’s rivalry with Paige appears to be heating up.
