The Idea For Nick Aldis’ Oasis SummerSlam 2026 Entrance Revealed

Nick Aldis received a memorable entrance for his long-awaited WWE in-ring debut at SummerSlam 2026 (Night One), making his way to the ring to “Morning Glory” by Oasis as he faced GUNTHER.

The use of the iconic Oasis track stood out, as WWE rarely licenses well-known commercial songs for superstar entrances, typically opting for original themes created specifically for its talent.

Speaking during the WWE SummerSlam 2026 (Night One) post-show, Triple H revealed how the idea came together and said Aldis initially mentioned Oasis as his dream entrance music. He said,

“A couple of weeks ago, we were talking about music, and I was like, ‘Give me your fantasy. What’s the biggest fantasy?’ He said, ‘What about Oasis?’ ‘Maybe. Let’s see. Meanwhile, let’s work on something else.’ I was thrilled a few days ago to tell him that Oasis was in.”

Triple H also had high praise for Aldis’ performance against GUNTHER. Despite it being Aldis’ first match in nearly three years, WWE’s Chief Content Officer said he was impressed with how the SmackDown General Manager performed and suggested that fans shouldn’t rule out another match in the future, adding, “never say never.”

Although Aldis came up short in his WWE debut, his time as an active competitor was brief. During the SummerSlam 2026 (Night One) post-show, Triple H officially reinstated him as the General Manager of SmackDown, sending Aldis back into the role he held before stepping into the ring.
