WWE SmackDown GM Nick Aldis made quite the entrance for his match at SummerSlam, arriving to the ring to Oasis’ ‘Morning Glory.’
Aldis’ use of the track led to the song trending on Twitter and Aldis’ entrance being added to the Wikipedia page for the album ‘(What’s the story?) Morning Glory.’
Taking to Twitter, Bronson Reed suggested that Limp Bizkit be contacted for his next theme if WWE is ready to pay big bucks for music from known artists.
Limp Bizkit and WWE have a history, including ‘My Way’ being used for WrestleMania 17 and ‘Rollin’ being used as The Undertaker’s theme song.
At WWE WrestleMania 19, the band’s track ‘Crack Addict’ was used as the official theme, and the band performed Rollin’ live for The Undertaker’s entrance.
Fred Durst was also included as a playable character in WWF SmackDown! Just Bring It and WWF RAW but needed to be unlocked by the player first.
Durst was famously kicked out of SummerSlam 2012 after flipping off the camera. He later claimed he voluntarily left the show very early to beat the traffic.
More recently, Bron Breakker expressed into in having an entrance track by Limp Bizkit, prompting Durst to respond and express interest in a collaboration.
