WWE’s creative team is reportedly feeling increased pressure following this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, with backstage reaction said to be focused on several segments that failed to land as intended.
According to a report from WrestleVotes, multiple people within WWE’s creative department have been under added scrutiny in the aftermath of Monday’s show.
The report notes that this week’s edition of RAW carried extra significance because it was held in Los Angeles, where several Netflix executives were reportedly in attendance.
Among the issues that drew attention was the show’s opening segment, which was hampered by microphone problems and a botched Fall From Grace spot involving Oba Femi. Sources described the sequence as “not a good look” given the high-profile audience in attendance.
Another segment that reportedly received negative feedback was the live concert featuring Danhausen and Joe Hendry. While the segment itself was said to have missed the mark, much of the criticism centered on the involvement of boxer Ryan Garcia.
According to the report, Garcia’s appearance was viewed by some backstage as underwhelming and unnecessary, particularly because of his controversial past. Garcia was expelled from the World Boxing Council (WBC) in July 2024 after making racist remarks, including slurs, during a livestream. The WBC later lifted the ban in November 2025, allowing him to return to the organization’s events.
