Ilja Dragunov has been out of action since last September due to a torn ACL he sustained during a WWE live event.

The injury was expected to keep Dragunov sidelined for six to nine months, halting his progress on the main roster.

Fightful is reporting that Dragunov has been seen training at the WWE Performance Center in preparation for his in-ring return. His visit to the WWE training facility was not for rehab.

Rather, Dragunov engaged in standard training sessions to prepare for his return.

WWE’s creative plans regarding Dragunov’s return remain unknown at this time.
