In case you missed it, WWE and TNA Wrestling announced yesterday that they’ve reached a multi-year partnership, which will extend their crossovers that they’ve been doing in 2024 and likely expand on it even more.

My question for you today is “What fun/interesting ideas do you have that you’d like to see work out with this deal?”

As far as my answer…

First off, I think we definitely need to see at least one TNA star in both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches. My choices would be Joe Hendry in the men’s and Masha Slamovich in the women’s, with the idea in mind that Jordynne Grace should probably debut in there as well and just be signed to WWE going forward outright, so she would tangentially count, but not really.

I 100% agree with Cedric Alexander just tweeting out “X Division” that he would be a great option to go over to TNA and win a title like that. WWE talent should win some of their belts. I’m not sure if I would fully trust TNA to have a WWE/NXT title, but I guess if this partnership is a two-way street, you have to let them play ball, too. With that in mind, I would probably toss out something small like the WWE Speed Championships or something from NXT. Maybe do something like put the Heritage Cup on a guy like Frankie Kazarian for a bit of a run.

Induct The Hardy Boyz into the WWE Hall of Fame. Do it before we run into a situation where they aren’t both around to be there together. Too many Hall of Famers have been slept on and it eventually became too late.

Give me a PCO moment where he either does the Quebecer Pierre or Jean-Pierre Lafitte eyepatch gimmick in something silly. Ideally, bring in Jacques Rougeau for the appearance, too.

But here’s the real kicker for me: bring back Worlds Collide and do a crossover pay-per-view that is equal parts Forbidden Door and Survivor Series meets Bragging Rights. Put NXT talent against TNA wrestlers in champion versus champion matches and other lineups, and do a 5-on-5 men’s and women’s (if possible; if not, just the men’s) elimination match.

Ultimately, I think the endgame here should be WWE just outright buying TNA so they can own the tape library, but that’s getting ahead of things.
