WWE Superstar Julius Creed is going through a heartbreaking loss as the former WWE NXT Tag Team Champion is mourning the passing of his dog.
Creed shared the news on Instagram alongside several photos of his dog Captain, whom the wrestler referred to as his ‘Happy Cappy.’
“Captain. My Happy Cappy. My buddy. Gone unexpectedly & way too soon. Loved big, didn’t care what anybody thought, & were always happy. I aspire to live life like you. Grief is a price we pay for love. As much as this sucks, it was all worth it.”
Creed is, sadly, the latest wrestler to lose their pet. In April 2026, WWE alum Donovan Dijak shared that his dog Oliver had died.
Drew McIntyre recently lost his pet cat, a loss that has ensured that McIntyre will never mock CM Punk for Larry the dog’s death.
Julius, alongside Brutus, signed with WWE in 2020 after being scouted by Gerald Brisco following their work in NCAA Division 1 wrestling.
In 2023, the pair were called up to the main roster alongside Ivy Nile, though the brothers have yet to hold gold on either RAW or SmackDown.
Most recently, Julius was seen training Kendal Grey ahead of her NXT Underground match with Lola Vice, a match that saw Grey retain the NXT Women’s Title.
We here at eWrestlingNews would like to express our condolences to Julius at this incredibly difficult time.
