WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament To Start On Monday’s Raw

Triple H made an announcement regarding the World Heavyweight Title at the WWE Backlash press conference today. 

There will be two triple threat matches taking place on Monday’s Raw, with the winners facing off later in the show. There will also be two triple threat matches taking place on next week’s SmackDown, and those winners will face off later in the show.

The winners coming out of Raw and SmackDown will then face each other in the finals at Night of Champions on August 27 to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion. 

The participants of those matches for Raw and SmackDown have yet to be announced. The title will be exclusive to Raw.
