WWE is said to be very worried about how Hurricane Ian will affect this week’s episode of SmackDown on FOX.

The hurricane has left many in Florida without power, with the storm heading north across the continental United States.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained that there are fears of talent missing SmackDown as many WWE Superstars reside in the Sunshine State.

“I know WWE’s very worried about Friday’s show because they have so many people from there. The hope was that it’ll be okay and people can get there from Tampa and Orlando to Winnipeg on Friday.”

This week’s AEW was affected by the hurricane, with Swerve Strickland and Ring of Honor TV Champion Samoa Joe not making it to the show.
