WWE is hyping up a big WrestleMania announcement on Saturday.
On this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Wade Barrett and Corey Graves announced that a “big announcement” pertaining to WrestleMania will be made on Saturday.
While Minneapolis, MN has been the frontrunner to host WrestleMania 41, there has been a lot of talk internally in recent months that the show will be taking place in Las Vegas, NV instead. If that turns out to be the case, Minneapolis may get the show in 2026 instead.
According to a report from Pwinsider, there has been some talk of WrestleMania 41 taking place on May 3rd and 4th of next year. That is not confirmed just yet.
Additionally, Triple H took to Twitter on Friday to announce that this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown in Lyon, France set a new live gate record for the show. The show broke the record that was set four weeks ago at the pre-WrestleMania 40 episode of SmackDown in Philadelphia, PA.
Tonight’s event in Lyon, France is officially the highest-grossing #SmackDown of all time, breaking a record set just 4 weeks ago in Philly ahead of #WrestleMania XL.
