As we previously reported here on eWn, AEW wrestler Samoa Joe is currently on a hiatus to film Season Two of the Peacock series Twisted Metal.
Joe portrays Sweet Tooth in the series, while Will Arnett provides the voiceover.
Pwinsider is reporting that several WWE Superstars, such as Omos, Cedric Alexander, and Apollo Crews, auditioned for the role of a new character named Axel.
However, the production team decided to proceed without casting any of the WWE Superstars for the role.
Season Two of Twisted Metal is expected to introduce a number of new characters, some of whom are based on the video game, including Mr. Grimm, Ashley, Bug, and Calypso.
