My question for you today is “What were your biggest takeaways from SummerSlam, good or bad or indifferent?”

As far as my answer…

I’m really glad they went with the simple outcome for Dominik Mysterio turning on Rhea Ripley. Anything else would have been a rush to end the story or it would have been overcomplicated. This should definitely end with a Custody of Dominik match in the sense of Rhea being able to get her hands on him and rip him to shreds, right?

Good call on all the title changes. Bron Breakker and LA Knight are well suited to hold those midcard titles. Gunther is the right call for the world heavyweight title, too. And while I’m not super looking forward to a Nia Jax run, I’ll admit it will be more interesting than what Bayley had been up to.

Drew McIntyre beating CM Punk with Seth Rollins causing some issues was the way to go. I’ve believed that for a while. And though I can’t put the Bloodline Rules match on the same level of the one from WrestleMania, I do still think it was done well, was the right booking decision, and it was cool to see Roman Reigns back.

Thumbs up all around. Not the best matches in the history of all time, but they all were solid.
