During WrestleMania 38 week in Dallas, WWE held a round of tryouts for current or recently graduated college athletes. 

Dallas Morning News reports more than a dozen athletes have been signed by the promotion from the tryouts. 

Some of the names signed include Lexie Amrhein, a 2020 national champion in acrobatics and tumbling from Bayley, Houston Miller, a former Texas Tech defensive end, and Tracy Hancock, a former American Olympian in wrestling.

WWE stated “several others” are in “different points in the process” to start with the company, with the total being “more than 20″ from Frisco’s tryout alone.

WWE is holding a set of tryouts for college athletes during SummerSlam week in Nashville, TN. A notable name at the tryouts includes Troy Polamalu’s Nephew, Talati Polamalu.
