WWE References Sting’s Retirement On RAW

On Monday’s episode of RAW, WWE acknowledged Sting’s retirement from the professional wrestling business.

As you all know by now, The Icon and Darby Allin defeated The Young Bucks to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Sunday night’s Revolution 2024 pay-per-view event.

On commentary, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee referenced Sting’s retirement without mentioning AEW directly. Cole noted that Sting retired from pro wrestling and added, “thanks for the memories, congratulations to Sting.”
