WWE Producer Is Excited To Produce Trish Stratus’ Return Match, Trish Talks 25th Anniversary

During a recent appearance on the “Counted Out with Mike & Tyler” podcast, TJ Wilson revealed that he’ll be the one producing Trish Stratus’ tag team match at WWE Elimination Chamber. At the event, Stratus & Tiffany Stratton will be teaming up to face off Nia Jax & Candice LeRae.

Wilson said, “It’s awesome. Trish brings a lot to the table. What I love about Trish is that she’s fearless and she’s aggressive in the ring. She just wants to show that she belongs in every era. She fits in.”

Wilson continued, “That last singles match she had was the best match of her career, I thought. That cage match was with Becky, I thought it was the best match of her career. That’s part of her aggressiveness and absolutely fearlessness. The fact that it’s going to be in Toronto is really special and cool.”

During a recent appearance on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Trish Stratus commented on her 25th anniversary in wrestling this year, talent pitching matches with her and Lita during her appearances over the last several years, and more.

On celebrating her anniversary this year: “It doesn’t sink in that it’s been 25 years since I debuted… If we hadn’t fought hard for the storylines and the longer matches… We may not have been in the place where we’re in now. We had to fight for that back then.”

On talent pitching matches with her and Lita during her appearances over the last several years: “Me and Lita were like ‘Whoah, we’ve really made an impact.’”
