According to a report from Wrestlenomics, the WWE NXT: Great American Bash special event drew 394,000 viewers on The CW Network, marking the second time an NXT pay-per-view event aired on the network. The show also faced direct competition from AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door, which streamed on pay-per-view the same day.
In the key 18-49 demographic, the Great American Bash posted a 0.07 rating.
For comparison, the June 23 episode of WWE NXT attracted 668,000 viewers and earned a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic, meaning that the Great American Bash finished well below the brand’s most recent weekly television audience.
